The Commandant of the Edo state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gbenga Agun, has reportedly slumped and died at a peace ambassador event in Benin City, on Thursday.
Agun who was a guest speaker at the ceremony organised by International Association of World Peace Advocate, slumped shortly after delivering his keynote address.

Blueprint gathered that he was immediately rushed to the Military hospital located at the Airport road for medical attention, but was said to have been pronounced dead at the facility.
