Musikilu Mojeed, editor-in-chief at Nigeria’s Premium Times, has spoken about Geoffrey Uche Nnaji’s academic records at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, following allegations of certificate forgery levelled against the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology.
In an interview with Channels TV from 20:17, Mojeed revealed that Nnaji had a problem with one course, which was a core terminal course required for graduation. He said Nnaji had classmates during his time at the university, and many of them likely did not know that he never actually graduated. He said he saw evidence of Nnaji brandishing what appeared to be a class register or similar document.

Musikilu Mojeed stated that the core course was essential for graduation, and without completing it, Nnaji could not have legitimately obtained his degree from the university.
In Musikilu Mojeed’s words: “He (Nnaji) had a problem with one course, which was a core course, a terminal course that he needed to sit to graduate. So he had classmates. In fact, I’m sure that many of his classmates perhaps didn’t know that he didn’t graduate because I saw him brandishing maybe a class register or whatever”
