Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has backed the Gunners to secure a narrow win when they face Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
Mikel Arteta’s men go into the highly anticipated clash on the back of a Premier League victory over Nottingham Forest, while City also claimed three points in their last outing against Manchester United.
Sharing his prediction with Paddy Power, Campbell tipped Arsenal to come out 2-1 winners in front of their home supporters.
“I have got a feeling it’s going to be a 2-1 Arsenal win,” Campbell said.
“I think they have got the bit between the teeth. Hopefully they have learned from Liverpool and just find that balance between defence and that gamble in attack.
“You need to trust the defence a little bit. You can’t have everyone back. You need the risk and reward.”
