The letter, dated October 20, 2025, and titled “Forever in Our Hearts,” celebrated the late First Lady’s quiet strength and humanitarian vision, which he said continue to inspire generations.

Daniel praised her for her advocacy on women’s rights, child welfare, and social development, highlighting how her compassion touched countless lives across Nigeria.

“She embodied dignity in leadership and kindness in humanity—qualities that remain a moral compass for many Nigerians,” the Senator wrote. “Her legacy endures through the causes she championed and the values she lived by: humility, service, and patriotism.”

Addressing Chief Obasanjo directly, Senator Daniel expressed his deep solidarity, acknowledging the lasting void left by her passing two decades ago. “May this 20th memorial bring renewed strength, peace, and gratitude for a life beautifully lived and forever remembered,” he wrote.
