Chelsea Boss Maresca Braces for “Tough” Manchester City Test

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has admitted that Saturday’s Premier League trip to the Etihad Stadium will be a major challenge, describing the clash with Manchester City as “a tough game.”

Maresca spoke after the Blues ended a five-match winless streak with a 3-1 victory over Wolves on Monday night, a result that lifted them back into the top four with 40 points.

“For now we are happy that we won this game, then tomorrow we start thinking about City which will for sure be a tough game,” Maresca told newsmen.
“In the last five games we didn’t win but I said many times that the performance was there. We created many chances but didn’t score. Tonight we finally scored and got three goals.”

City, meanwhile, head into the fixture in strong form, having hammered Ipswich Town 6-0 at Portman Road on Sunday.
