BREAKING: DCI Discloses How Much Taxi Driver Was Paid to Illegally Dispose of Woman’s Body

Detectives in Murang’a have revealed shocking details in the case of a woman whose body was transported as a parcel and later discovered at Kangari Police Station.

‎‎Investigations established that a taxi driver who operates between Makomboki market and Kangari town was paid five hundred shillings to ferry what he believed was ordinary luggage.

‎‎The driver reported that he was approached by a man who instructed him to deliver the parcel to an alleged contact in Kangari town.

‎‎Upon reaching the location, the driver failed to find the intended recipient and decided to take the parcel to Kangari Police Station for safekeeping.

‎‎Officers who attempted to offload the package grew suspicious of its unusual weight and foul smell.

‎‎When it was opened, the parcel was found to contain the body of a woman wrapped in layers of blankets and clothing.

‎‎The deceased was later identified as Hannah Wanjiku, a fifty-three-year-old mother of six from Kamukabi village.

‎Relatives said she had previously fled her matrimonial home due to domestic violence and had been living in a rented house while working in nearby tea plantations.

‎Police have since arrested four suspects, including the victim’s estranged husband, two of her sons, and the taxi driver who transported the body.

‎‎The body was moved to Githumu Hospital mortuary for postmortem as detectives pursue further evidence.

‎‎DCI officers confirmed that forensic analysis will determine the cause of death and identify individuals linked to the killing.

‎‎The investigation is ongoing as the family of the deceased demands justice for what has been described as a brutal and calculated crime.
