Former Secretary to the Federal Government SGF Babachir David Lawal along with former Governor Bindow Jibrilla and Senator Abbo have inaugurated a new African Democratic Congress Party ADC Adamawa State chapter.
Speaking during the inauguration Mr. Babachir David Lawal said the ADC will win the State if they put their acts together.
He said the old executives of the ADC outlived their usefulness by abandoning the party therefore a new transition committee headed by Barrister Sadiq Dasin, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives and onetime speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly.

BD Lawal pointed out that it was necessary for the Comrade Shehu Yohanna to vacate the ADC for a new one since their was a protracted battle for who to be the chairman.
Also Speaking former Governor Bindow Jibrilla said ADC will go places and he called on the people of Adamawa State to join the ADC massively under the leadership of the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Senator Abdul Aziz Nyako also pointed out that the ADC has become the party to beat in any contest in Adamawa State.

On his part Senator Cliff Abbo said in the federal Republic of Nigeria now ADC is the main opposition leadership and headed by Atiku Abubakar the former Vice President.
He said he was confident that in any elective positions ADC would come first in Nigeria because the PDP which was the main opposition party has renaged by been an appendage of the APC All Progressive Congress Party which some of their key members are serving in the APC Government rendering the PDP ineffective.
Senator Abbo said he was happy to land in a party like ADC which would guarantee the fundamental rights of all Nigerians in 2027.
