BREAKING: Ex-Monarch’s Wife Paraded by Community Over Alleged Charm Burial

A woman identified as Mrs Chinelo, was on Wednesday, paraded round the villages of Ibom Isii, Arochukwu LGA of Abia after allegedly being caught at 2am burying charms in a compound.

Chinelo, according to the villagers, was the wife of the former traditional ruler of the Ibom Isii.

Videos circulated by villagers showed the Queen who tied a red wrapper being paraded around the villages by about 200 villagers who were singing and playing local musical instrument.

In the video, the woman was seen walking bare foot, carrying a plate alleged to be the charms she wanted to bury.

Some villagers in the video, claimed that Mrs Chinelo was in the past, sent away from her husband’s home by community members, because of alleged infidelity.

After being paraded around the villages, a community source said she was handed over to the elders to confess her mission or state her innocence.

But another villager said Chinelo had already confessed her activities when she was caught, saying it is an abomination for anyone to be involved in such action.

However, during the parading, the wife of the Ex-monarch was seen in the video walking quietly, carrying the alleged charms without saying any words.
