Manchester City also advanced, defeating Huddersfield Town 2-0 with strikes from Phil Foden and Savinho.
Elsewhere, Newcastle United thrashed Bradford City 4-1, while Tottenham Hotspur eased past Doncaster Rovers 3-0.
They join the following clubs already through:
Liverpool, Chelsea, Wycombe Wanderers, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Fulham, Cardiff City, Swansea City, and Brighton.
The fourth-round draw will be conducted Wednesday night after the completion of the final third-round tie.
