Leadership Crisis: Nigeria Needs Scientific Solution, Says SGF

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, has called for a scientific approach to address the leadership crisis and communal clashes in Nigeria. Speaking at the launch of three books written by Prof. Iyorwuese Hagher, Akume emphasized the need for a united and acceptable official language and a review of the English language as a lingua franca. He attributed the communal crisis between the Jukun and Tiv tribes in Benue and Taraba states to the effects of climate change, which has led to a shrinking usable ecosystem.
