Man says the type of ram he got for N76,000 in Kaduna was sold to his friend in Lagos for N245,000

A man on Tuesday evening gave details of how the same type of ram he bought for the sum of N76,000 in Kaduna State was sold to his friend in Lagos State for the sum of N245,000, saying the unnecessary high prices of goods in the country seem to be man-made. According to him, the whole amount he spent in buying the ram as well as bringing it to his house amounted to N76,000, adding that the ram is fairly big enough. Displaying photographs of the ram in his compound, the man said when he spoke with his friend living in Lagos and the man saw the photographs of his ram, the friend told him that he bought the same type of ram for the sum of N245,000.(Caption): The N76,000 ram bought by the man.

The man wrote: “I got this ram yesterday from a market in Kauru, Kaduna State. Everything that brought it to my doorstep in Zaria is N76,000. It’s actually bigger than it looks in these pictures. Nigeria’s inflation is largely man-made. My friend got something like this in Lagos for N245,000. Hmmm.The prices of rams, especially in the southwestern part of the country, seem to be on the high side as there are reports that some of the rams to be slaughtered during the Eid-el-Kabir festival go for as high as N500,000 depending on the sizes.
