Priscilla Ojo, Baby Rakeem Get Lavish Homecoming Celebration in Tanzania

Media personality Priscilla Ojo and her newborn son, Rakeem Mkambala, have received a grand homecoming celebration in Tanzania from her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

The family-of-three reunited weeks after Priscilla gave birth in Canada, where Rakeem was born and later secured his Canadian passport. Jux, who was unable to attend the delivery due to visa issues, ensured their return was marked in unforgettable style.

At the airport, Priscilla and baby Rakeem were greeted with fresh flowers and gifts. The celebrations continued at home with an elaborate blue-themed welcome party, featuring balloons, framed photos, and a large banner that read “Welcome Home Mommy and Rakeem.”

A decorative standee spelling out “RAKEEM” further highlighted the occasion.

Actress Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother, joined in the festivities and playfully teased her son-in-law for going all out weeks after the child’s birth.

“Juma, you are so extra. What happened? Rakeem is actually one month old,” she joked.

Proudly embracing fatherhood, Jux responded: “My son. Yes. My first son.”

Priscilla, visibly touched by the celebration, exclaimed: “Oh my God, Papa Rakeem is extra.” Iyabo Ojo also admired the setup, adding: “This is so beautiful.”

Clips from the event were shared on Instagram Stories, with Priscilla posting a photo captioned “Home” while Jux uploaded a short video featuring baby Rakeem and Iyabo Ojo.

The heartwarming homecoming has since drawn praise from fans online, with many commending Jux’s thoughtful gesture.
