Shaibu donated 50 Sienna vehicles, a fully equipped office to support the Okpebholo- Osage Ize-Iyamu

A Chieftain of the APC and former Edo governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has acknowledged that former Edo deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu is supporting the APC ahead of the September 21 governorship election. In an interview on Channels TV, Ize-Iyamu however said Shaibu has not formally left the PDP for the APC. He said the former deputy Governor see the governorship candidate of the APC, Senator Monday Okpebholo as a homeboy, a description he’s looking for in a candidate that he would support. Pastor Ize-Iyamu said: “Yes. Only some days ago, he donated his campaign materials. He gave us his vehicles, he gave us his office. You see, the support that our candidate is getting is unbelievable. It is unprecedented. Philip Shaibu has not formally joined the APC, but he told people that he liked the humility of our candidate and having interacted with him, he can say categorically that he means well.

And you will recall that while he was contesting as an aspirant in the PDP, he said that he was concerned with somebody that Edo people can trust. Somebody that they call a homeboy. And he has it that the candidate of the APC fills that description. And if he is not contesting again, then everything that he has he will give in support. He has donated 50 Sienna vehicles to us. He gave us a fully equipped office and he promised a lot more.”
