WE ARE CALLING ON THE ATTENTION OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA, PRECISELY HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND THE AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL TO look into the vital issues affecting the Niger Delta presidential amnesty program with an immediate effects.
We the delegates are sincerely worried about the unfruitfulness of the presidential amnesty program in the previous years , as it concerns our futures and the wellbeing of our society as well. We can not over emphasize on the fact that it’s a federal pardon with an undertaking for us to leave average life in other not to go back to arm struggle in the Niger Delta region.
We are very much aware of the fact that this project has it’s own blue print to guide it’s affairs accurately, but research has proven us right on the fact that , the program has failed to deliver it’s aims and objective in the Niger Delta region in times of Development and etc, due to poor management.
So we are using this medium to call on the federal government of Nigeria to caution the affairs of the office. to retrace it’s steps immediately to the blue print of the program, accurately as it was assigned by late president, his exellency umaru Musa yaraduha in the year 2009. We are resounding this fact to the amnesty international and the federal government of Nigeria as well , that we shall not be held responsible in the future for any reason if the program totally failed to deliver it’s aims and objectives for any given time. Because we the youths of Niger Delta has fulfill our parts of the agreement by the submission of arms.
Now it’s obvious that the presidential amnesty program was offered to ensure peaceful exploration of the Niger Delta crude oil only and not for the development of the Niger Delta region. Because since 2009 till date there has been no significant development in the Niger Delta, rather the situation is even getting worse on daily basis. Niger Delta region have automatically become a poverty capital right from discernment till date .
(Subject matters)
(1) THE DELISTED DELEGATES SHOULD BE REINSTATED.
(2) THOSE GENUINE DELEGATES THAT THEIR ACCOUNT, NAME’S AND BVN IS BEEN MANUPULATED SHOULD BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.
(3) BRING DATABASE TO OUR STATES TO DO VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR THOSE AFFECTED BENEFICIARIES.
(4) INCREMENT OF YEARLY BUDGET FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME FOR THE OFFICE TO DO THE NEEDFUL.
(5) INCREMENT OF MONTHLY STIPENDS FROM #65K TO #300K BECAUSE OF THE HIGH COST OF LIVELIHOOD AND INCREASE OF DOLLAR IN THE COUNTRY.
(6) TRAIN AND EMPOWER DELEGATES AND ALSO EMPOWER THOSE DELEGATES THAT HAS BEEN TRAINED BUT NOT EMPOWERED SINCE AFTER THEIR TRAINING.
(7) ALL OUR REINSERTION (HOUSE) ALLOWANCES SINCE FROM 2009 TILL DATE SHOULD BE PAID.
(8) THE BLUEPRINT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME SHOULD BE FOLLOWED.
(9) OUR 3 BEDROOM BUNGALOW AND CAR SHOULD BE PROVIDED AS PROMISE BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA DURING THE DISARMAMENT, SIGNED BY LATE PRESIDENT UMARU MUSA YAR”ADUA.
(10) PAYMENT OF All LEADERS SHOULD BE DONE ACCURATELY
IN OTHER FOR THEM TO STOP THE SHOT PAYMENT OF THEIR BOYS
(11) PUBLISH THE BLUEPRINT OF THE PROGRAM AND ALSO THE 30,000 DELEGATE”S ON NEWSPAPER IF WE ARE UP TO THAT NUMBER AS CLAIMED BY THE OFFICE, AND ALWAYS PUBLISH NAMES OF BENEFICIARIES THAT ARE GOING FOR ANY TRAINING OR EMPOWERMENT ON VANGUARD NEWSPAPER AS IT WAS DONE IN THE PAST, IN OTHER TO STOP THE ACTS OF MISMANAGING OF FOUNDS IN THE OFFICE BY ANYONE THAT FIND THEMSELVES IN THE PAP OFFICE.
(12) IF ALL THIS ISSUES CAN’T BE CORRECTED AND THE BLUEPRINT CAN NOT BE FOLLOW, WE THE NIGER DELTA EX-AGITATOR”S ARE PLEADING WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA TO GIVE PAYOFF, BY USING THE DATABASE AND PAY ANY REAL DELEGATE THAT IS WILLING TO ACCEPT IT.
BECAUSE OUR NAME”S CAN”T BE THERE WHILE SOME EVIL PERSONS IN THE PAP ARE USING THOSE NAMES TO ENRICHE THEMSELVES AND THEIR RELATIVES WHILE THE REAL DELEGATES ARE IN ABJECT POVERTY.
(13) ALSO IT HAS COME TO OUR NOTICE , THAT RIGHT FROM DISARMAMENT TILL DATE, THERE ARE SOME DELEGATES THAT HAS BENEFITED NOTHING, NOT EVEN STIPENDS FROM THE PROGRAM.
IN CONCLUSION, FOR THE FACT THAT WE LAYED DOWN OUR ARMS TO EMBRACE PEACE, LET ALL OUR ENTITLEMENTS UNDER THE DEAL BE GIVEN TO EACH AMD EVERYONE OF US.
