Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has publicly assured her colleague Davido of her unwavering loyalty, despite their highly publicized clash earlier this year.
Speaking in an interview with The Breakfast Club, Savage reflected on her fallout with the DMW boss, which escalated in January 2024 after she filed a petition accusing him of threatening her life.
The rift began when Savage posted a photo with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, at the height of his child custody dispute with Sophia. The gesture reportedly angered the singer, sparking a tense exchange that soon became public.
However, Tiwa Savage has now sought to put lingering doubts to rest, stressing that her bond with Davido remains intact.
“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take side,” she said, adding that her admiration for the ‘OBO’ hitmaker remains unchanged.
Her comments have drawn attention from fans, many of whom are hopeful that the two Afrobeats stars will reconcile fully and put the controversy behind them.
