Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has asked the federal government and President Bola Tinubu to stay away from Kano state politics. There is currently a controversy in the state over the reinstatement of Muhammadu Sanusi as 16th Emir of Kano following the signing of the new Kano Emirate Council Law and deposition of Aminu Bayero.

Speaking in an interview with Arise Television, on Monday, Galadima said Tinubu should be mindful of his intervention in the state politics because it will “destroy his presidency.
