VeryDarkMan Accuses Blord of Exploiting Nigerians with ‘Fake’ iPhone 17 Pro

Nigerian social critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has called out businessman and crypto investor Blord, accusing him of trying to deceive Nigerians by selling refurbished iPhone XR devices as iPhone 17 Pro.

In a video shared on Instagram, VDM blasted Blord for what he described as an attempt to “rip Nigerians off under the guise of business.”

The drama began after Blord posted a video of himself unboxing what he claimed was an “upgraded” iPhone XR turned into an iPhone 17 Pro.

He explained that the phone had been modified by his associate in China to look and function exactly like Apple’s newest model, with the same icons, design, and interface.

Blord said he had two of the devices available, each selling for ₦400,000, and proudly showcased them to his followers.

However, VDM quickly fired back, saying Blord was trying to scam unsuspecting Nigerians.

According to him, the so-called iPhone 17 Pro was just a refurbished iPhone XR that costs about ₦280,000 in China, including shipping and delivery to Nigeria.

“Blord, I think you forgot I’m in China. Why are you trying to extort Nigerians? You want to make big profits by deceiving people.”

The video has since gone viral, with many Nigerians reacting strongly. Some agreed with VDM’s claims, while others defended Blord, saying he only modified the phone for creativity.
