A 63-year-old man from New Brighton was caught and assaulted by local residents after accusations emerged that he had been involved in abusing several children. According to reports, he would lure young children with treats like sweets and bread before assaulting them.
Witnesses say the man had been targeting children for several weeks, and suspicions grew among the community members. The situation came to a head when locals noticed a young girl leaving the man’s home upset and crying. Anger boiled over, and the residents confronted him. They physically assaulted him before calling the police to take control of the situation and prevent further violence.
